1 out of 5 stars Horrible sound quality   October 24, 2009
Christopher Pierce (Arlington, VA)
I never used bluetooth headsets before, so I'm guessing this review might be true for all of them.

I had been wanting an easy wireless solution to replace my corded headset for my laptop for some time (every time someone skypes, we have to detangle the cord, decipher headset plug from the mic plug, decipher headset jack from mic jack, etc). I assumed the bluetooth headset would be the answer to my prayers.

First off, the idea I could just turn'em on and they world work is wrong. Even after pairing, I had to go into Vista control panel to change the default audio settings. Then when I turn'em off, I have to go back and do it again to get my on board speakers to work.

But even worse, the audio is awful. I mean really unbearably bad. Imagine your friend calls you on your cell phone, and plays music to you over the phone. That is basically how the audio sounds. There is a loud and constant background "hiss", there is no bass, and the compression causes aliasing where I found whole drum beats to be lost.

I kind of expected the quality of wireless headphones to be not as good a wired ones, but this is just unlistenable. I'm guessing this is true with all bluetooth headphones, but the product description of "crystal clear sound reproduction" is really just false and misleading.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent bluetooth headphones   September 15, 2009

They may look a little dorky, but they work very well. I hate the things that wrap around your ear or go inside. These are very comfy and the sound quality is great. No one is asking me to repeat myself or hearing any interference. They always work well. The battery life is really good too. My boyfriend had a set and I laughed at how goofy he looked. Then I used them and had to get a set of my own.

I definitely recommend these!

Controls make this awesome. It pairs easily. It is extremely clear & most people cannot even tell you are on a cell phone or using bluetooth headphones. I would definitely recommed it!

4 out of 5 stars My problem was Vista, Headphones work perfectly once I got arround vista   June 30, 2009
David Alvo
This is my first review so bare with me! I will try to make it short and to the point.

I got the headphones to use them mainly with my PC to use with Skype and listen to music. I own a HP Pavilion with windows vista, this being the problem (vista). Just out of the box skype worked really well but music hissed and sounded terrible. Called Jabra support and they were not very helpful just offered to change the headphones. Didn't want this cause I had a feeling it was software problem. Did a lot of reading about a2dp, bluetooth, music, etc. and found that the problem was the software that came with vista, not the hardware (pc or headphones). Downloaded a trial version of bluesoleil and it works wonderful!

So in short, once I got the headphones to work properly they work perfectly, sound great, volume a bit to low, connects well with no breaking up, very good quality. The bad side (vistas fault) was that it took me a while to figure out the problem and Jabra support wasn't very helpful (they were nice, but not very technical). If you own vista I would suggest you get bluesoleil software first.

Hope it helps!

1 out of 5 stars Item was DOA   June 15, 2009

Item died on day one. I am not an audiophile, but noticed the sound quality was way below what I was expecting and the range was limited to about 10-15 ft in my house. I am looking for a refund.
