I ordered this product for my Macintosh based on reviews that stated it would work with a Macintosh. It doesn't. Linksys tech support was useless and admitted it doesn't work with Macintosh. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU HAVE A MACINTOSH.

Product was easy to connect. After two weeks it stopped working. I have a keyboard and number pad. Worked fine at first. Then it started loosing connection to the point where it will not connect at all.

I found this item very useful when it comes to file exchanges and wireless device usage. I installed it on my Windows XP and had no issues whatsoever.

First, the disc shipped with the USBBT100 would not load. The drivers on the disc would not load on a Windows 7 32 bit system.
Microsoft does state that this device is comaptibile with Windows 7 32 bit.
The problem for me was finding software that would work. The software I downloaded from Linksys would not load the drivers either. I tried both versions.
I finally loaded the Broadcom software and it now works great.

I said everything works great, but the distance stated on the specifications is not even close for me. I go into my kitchen which is only about 20 ft. and the signal starts breaking up. I know there are many varibles and I know for fact the microwave does make it break up. I am going to try raising the USBBT100 with some USB extension cables.
